I Left The Hasidic World, But I Didn't Leave Orthodoxy: Meet Zeldy

I HAVE PUT THIS LADY ON MY BLOG BECAUSE SHE SAYS THINGS THAT ARE TRUE.

ALL FRUM JEWS NOT JUST CHASIDIM GROW UP IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT THEY HAVE TO BE THE SAME AS THE PARENTS, BUT WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THOUGHTS ARE REALLY IN THE MIND OF THE PARENTS ABOUT BEING JEWISH.

PEOPLE WHO KNOW MY CHILDREN TELL ME G-D BLESSED YOU WITH VERY SPECIAL CHILDREN, I TELL THEM THAT MY WIFE A.H. ( IT IS NOW COMING UP TO 3 YEARS SINCE SHE PASSED AWAY ) AND THE LOVE FOR HER TO DAY IS AS IF SHE WAS ALIVE ONLY I DO NOT HAVE THE PERSON TO HOLD.

WE HAD SUCH A LOVE ( EVEN THOUGH WE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ) BECAUSE WHEN WE LOVED, HASHEM WAS THE THIRD THING IN BETWEEN US AND EACH ONE LOVED HASHEM.

I OFTEN CRY TO HASHEM YOU TOOK AWAY MY WAY OF LOVING YOU.

I WAS NOT SURPRISED THAT MY CHILDREN GREW UP LOVING HASHEM AS THAT IS WERE THEY CAME FROM.

WHAT WE JEWS ARE MISSING FRUM OR NOT FRUM IS TOLERANCE FOR EACH OTHERS DIFFERENT WAYS.

UMAN

I WENT TO UMAN FOR ROSH H'SANA OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO, AT THAT TIME THERE WERE ONLY JUST OVER FIVE THOUSAND JEWS THERE

I WAS NOT IMPRESSED, I DID NOT LIKE IT, I AM TELLING YOU THE TRUTH, I LIKE TO PRAY IN A SMALL SYNAGOGUE AND NOT LIFT UP MY EYES FROM THE PRAYER BOOK AND MEDITATE AND BECOME ONE WITH OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.

I WAKE UP AFTER THE HOURS OF PRAYER AND MEDITATION AND FEEL A DIFFERENT PERSON.

A RABBI  ASKED ME HOW DO I UNDERSTAND UMAN I ANSWERED THAT I DO NOT, ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT RABBI NACHMAN SAID OVER 214 YEARS AGO THAT BEFORE THE MOSHIACH COMES THOUSANDS WILL COME TO UMAN, AND THERE WERE SEVENTY YEARS UNDER THE COMMUNIST REGIME NO ONE WENT THEIR .

AND TO DAY THERE IS NO LIVING RABBI WHO HAS GOT SO MANY PEOPLE COMING TO HIM.
