Arad City Hall Plans To Remove Contents Of Gerrer Shul In Miklat

After Gerre Chassidim were evicted from a miklat (bomb shelter) shul in Arad, losing their appeal to the High Court of Justice last week, Arad City Hall padlocked the miklat to keep them out.

The city insists they broke into the miklat without authorization, and that led to the eviction order. The chassidim insist they have permission from the IDF Homefront Command.

Despite the call of the rabbonim to avoid violence, a large police presence was ordered to the scene to maintain order.Arad City Hall on Monday announced the miklat would be cleared of its contents during the afternoon hours Monday. This refers to the items brought in for the shul and beis medrash. Rabbonim affiliated with Gerre called on their tzibur to hold an atzeres tefilla as an outcry to the city’s actions. The rabbonim stressed to refrain from any verbal and/or physical violence.

Gerrer Chassidus Targeted In An Anti-Semitic Attack In Arad

A stormy atmosphere exists in Arad following the decision to evict Gerrer Chassidim from a bomb shelter converted into a shul. On motzei Shabbos, swastikas and obscene graffiti were painted in the shelter.

A spokesman for the illegal shul explained that talks were held this past week by city officials regarding the legal status of the shul affiliated with the Gerrer Chassidus. However, a City Hall official in a media interview added that the shul should not have been established prior to going through the required process.

Police responded to the scene as the city was determined to remove the shul, in line with a decision by local officials. Chassidim were on hand in the hope of preventing the eviction of the shul.

An avreich is quoted telling Kikar Shabbos News that some secular residents appeared on Friday night and encouraged police to oust the shul despite the fact it did not bother them.

This did not occur as they hoped, and the attack occurred on motzei Shabbos. Police were called as an avreich passed by, seeing the vandals painting the shul. Police arrived immediately and apprehended the attackers in the act.

The city explains the chassidim broke into the shelter on Thursday and turned it into a shul, without authorization, pointing out the city planned to use it for its social services department.

I DREAMT THAT I HAD DIED IN BED, AND THE CHEVRA KADISHA WERE GETTING ME READY FOR MY LEVAYE,

THE INTERESTING THING THAT HAPPENED WAS THAT WHEN I WOKE UP, I WAS AWAKE, BUT I KEPT ON THINKING THAT I WAS DEAD.IT TOOK ME ALONG TIME TO WAKE UP THAT I WAS ALIVE.

I WENT BACK IN TO MY DAY, TO FIND OUT WERE THIS KIND OF STRONG  DREAM COMES FROM .

I KNOW THAT DURING THE DAY, I HAD THOUGHTS ABOUT MYSELF, THAT I DO NOT HAVE A VALUE,AND AM NOT NEEDED FOR ANYTHING, LIKE A PIECE OF RUBBISH, THAT YOU THROW AWAY IN TO THE DUSTBIN 

THANK G-D I HAVE BELIEVE IN HASHEM  AND KNOW THESE THOUGHTS ARE FROM THE YATZER HORAH WHO WANTS TO BRAKE MY STRONG BELIEF IN HASHEM AND THAT I SHOULD TAKE NO NOTICE OF THEM. 

THESE FEELINGS MAKE ME FEEL THAT NO WOMEN OR MAN WANTS TO BEFRIEND ME AND TALK TO ME NO ONE NEEDS ME FOR ANY JOB ETC,ETC.AND I FEEL READY FOR THE DUSTBIN. 

BUT THANK G-D STANDS BY MY SIDE AND DOES NOT LET ME FALL IN TO DEPRESSION.

BUT I ALSO THOUGHT THAT IF ONE PERSON BEFRIENDED ME PROPERLY THE YETZER HARAH WOULD HAVE NO PLACE

BY CHANCE I WAS TO DAY BY A LEVAYA AND THE SPEAKERS WERE APOLOGIZING THAT WE DID NOT DO ENOUGH WHEN THIS PERSON WAS ALIVE.
