AND AGAIN: Two Toddlers Locked in Cars In Israel Rescued By First Responders
Two dramatic incidents of children being locked in cars on a hot summer day occurred in Israel one after the other on Tuesday.
The first instance occurred in Netanya when a four-year-old girl was forgotten in a vehicle for two hours. Thankfully the incident ended without injury as one of the windows in the car was slightly open. the resulting airflow prevented the child from suffering potentially life-threatening injuries.
Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah paramedics responded to the emergency and treated the girl at the scene. She was then transported to Laniado Hospital for further care. Police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the case.
MDA paramedics Rafi Seven and Natalie Bennett said, “When we arrived, we saw the girl outside the vehicle sweating and hot to the touch. We were told that she was locked in the shuttle vehicle for about two hours and was found by a family member.”
Shraga Sher, a United Hatzalah paramedic added, “When we arrived at the girl’s place, she was already brought to her parents’ home and there we gave her first aid. She then received medical treatment at the hospital while she was suffering from fluid loss and suspected heatstroke.”
The second incident occurred near Mevaseret Zion at a wedding hall in Ein Hemed. United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Tomer Greenzeid was driving past the Ein Hemed interchange when he received the emergency alert regarding the toddler trapped in the vehicle. He quickly raced over to the location, and by utilizing a breaching kit that he received as a Yedidim volunteer he opened the car without causing damage to the vehicle and extricated the young boy. The boy, just three-years-old was still fully conscious when Tomer extricated him.
“It is a miracle that he wasn’t hurt,” said Greenzeid. “Had I not gotten there when I did this story could have ended far worse.”
In Israel, there are close to 100 cases every month of children being locked in cars according to a recent report in the Jerusalem Post. Some of these instances end in death, although in the majority of cases the children are rescued by passersby or first responders.
THE YOUNGSTERS OF TO DAY ARE NOT EDUCATED AND READY TO HAVE A FAMILY AND CHILDREN, THIS IS THE FAULT OF THE EDUCATORS, AND THEIR INSTITUTIONS .
MY IDEA IS THAT ALL WHO GET MARRIED SHOULD GO THROUGH A TEST IF THEY UNDERSTAND AND ARE READY TO BE PARENTS.
TILL THEN THEY CAN GET MARRIED, BUT ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING CHILDREN ON TO THIS WORLD, AS THEY THINK LIFE IS JUST TO ENJOY, ENJOY, AND THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE RESPONSIBILITY OF HAVING A FAMILY, A CHILD TO THEM IS JUST LIKE A TOY, WHEN THEY DO NOT NEED IT, THEY LEAVE IT IN THE CAR.

I really think that it is more to do with stress. Both parents are harried and have to run around. Plus traffic is so bad in Israel. If one parent has a routine change, it’s likely this is when they forget to take the child out of the car. Sometimes the person is thinking about getting to work and forgets the child in the car, it’s that simple. It can happen to anyone.
MALKA BATSHEVA
IF THEY CAN NOT TAKE THE STRESS OF LIFE, THEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE MARRIED AND HAVE CHILDREN IF YOU THINK PARENTS WHO RUN A ROUND TO GET THIS GET THAT,PLUS CAN NOT TAKE THE STRESS OF TRAFFIC
FORGET THEIR CHILD IN A CAR AS THEY ARE THINKING ABOUT WORK ETC,ETC.
