I totally agree with you, Rabbi Lock. Why are these people so entitled? Yes, the plane was delayed and they should never have boarded a delayed flight which would barely make it before Shabbat. In this article the man says that they begged El Al to let them off the plane on the tarmac. Stupid man, this is dangerous and they were waiting for a slot for take off. I bet they will seek compensation. I think that El Al barely makes any profits due to all these shenanigans. Then the writer makes a
big deal about Shabbos Achdut, blah blah. Well, guess what most people have that anyway and see Jews of all different types. He also makes out that they were mesirus nefesh for shabbat, what a joke. I feel sorry for the non religious on that flight.

David must be one of those self entitled people who thinks it’s ok to shout, scream, be aggressive and blame other people for their own lack of social responsibility. I am not the frummest person who walks the earth but if I had made the mistake to get on that plane, I would at least stay quiet and keep my head down. Rather than cause a fuss and blame other people.
