TRAGEDY: A Grandfather Drowns While Toiveling At Netanya Beach Shortly Before Grandson’s Bris

A 50-year-old man drowned on a beach in Netanya on Monday, 2 Elul, hours before his grandson’s bris. The incident occurred north of the Argaman beach in the city, in an area unauthorized for swimming, near signs warning persons not to enter the water.
Kikar Shabbos News reports the victim was a shomer Shabbos individual, and he was in the water to toivel ahead of the bris.
United Hatzalah EMT Shimon Eliyahu explained that he and others began CPR after the man was extricated from the water and he was transported to a hospital with CPR in progress. He was R”L pronounced dead at Laniado Hospital in the city.

THIS IS VERY SAD, TO GO IN TO THE SEA

NUMBER ONE HE COULD OF GONE IN TO A NORMAL MIKVAH NOT THE SEA.
NUMBER TWO HOW COULD HE GO IN TO THE SEA IN AN AREA UNAUTHORIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND TOLD NOT TO GO IN TO THE SEA.
LETS TAKE A NETUREI KARTA HAS HE GOT A RIGHT TO DRIVE A CAR WITHOUT A LICENCE IN ISRAEL EVEN THOUGH HE DOSE NOT RECOGNISE THE STATE OF ISRAEL,OR HAS A DRIVER THE RIGHT TO DRIVE THE WRONG WAY ROUND UP A ONE WAY STREET.
THERE ARE RULES WHICH WERE MADE TO STOP PEOPLE DOING DANGEROUS THINGS AND THE PEOPLE CAN LIVE ONE NEXT TO THE OTHER.

What an awful tragedy! And yet you choose to come at this story from your usual bitter twisted perverted angle. Do you have no rachmonos for the bereaved family who must be suffering terribly ? Could you not find an ounce of compassion for them, rather than get on your high horse and moralise? Are you truly an orthodox Jew? Because from where I'm standing, your comments seem more than a little wicked

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF AN ORTHODOX JEW, MY COMMENTS ARE VERY WICKED, THE GENTLEMAN WAS STUPID BY GOING IN TO THE SEA AT A PLACE WERE THE GOVERNMENT HAD ISSUED A WARNING.
YES IT IS AWFUL TRAGEDY AND VERY SAD BUT AS A ORTHODOX JEW I MAY NOT HAVE PITY ON THE VICTIM AS IF HE WAS RIGHT IN WHAT HE DID.
MY AIM IS TO SHOW THAT HE WAS WRONG AND STUPID.
MY RACHMONOS IS THAT ANOTHER JEW SHOULD COPY HIM IF MY PITY SHOULD COME OVER IN THE WRONG WAY AND SOMEONE WILL COPY HIM

THE ANGEL OF DEATH CAME TO G-D AND SAID I DO NOT WANT TO BE THE ANGEL OF DEATH EVERYBODY WILL CURSE ME.
G-D SAID TO THE ANGEL OF DEATH, DO NOT WORRY NO ONE WILL SAY HE DIED FROM THE ANGEL OF DEATH.
EVERYONE WILL SAY HE DIED FROM A CAR ACCIDENT OR HEART ATTACK ETC,ETC.
THIS MAN GOING IN TO THE SEA DIED BECAUSE HIS TIME HAD COME TO DIE, BUT HE WAS NOT CAREFUL AND THAT IS YOUR JEWISH DUTY ACCORDING TO THE TORAH TO PROTECT YOUR LIFE YOU SHOULD NOT DO DANGEROUS THINGS WHICH CAN CAUSE YOU DEATH.
YOU MAY NOT WORK TO HARD TO ACCUMULATE MONEY EVEN IF YOU GIVE IT TO ZDOKA AS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE IS LIFE, WHICH IS TIME IN IT SELF, AND A JEW MUST SPEND HIS TIME LEARNING TORAH, AND NOT ACCUMULATING MONEY.

Do you have any humility at all ? Do you ever turn around and say, "I made a mistake, I was wrong" ?

I assume that when a person dies as a result of doing something which you consider they brought upon themselves, you don't make a shiva visit to the family as this would be hypocritical ?

I DO NOT KNOW YOU I WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU AND HAVE DEBATE IN PUBLIC THEY WAY I THINK, AND THE WAY YOU THINK.
I DO SOMETIMES MAKE A MISTAKE BUT USUALLY I THINK THINGS THROUGH FROM ALL SIDES.
I HAVE LOST MY DEAR WIFE NEARLY FOUR YEARS AGO ALSO PARENTS BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND LOTS OF NEAR FAMILY.
EVEN THOUGHT MY WIFE PASSED ON NEARLY FOUR YEARS AGO, EVERYONE WHO KNOWS ME KNOWS THAT I AM STILL IN LOVE WITH HER AND WHEN MY SONS KISS ME IT IS LIKE SHE KISSES ME.( TO UNDERSTAND THIS YOU MUST MEET MY SONS )
EVEN THOUGH I AM A RELIGIOUS MAN I HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT THE WORLD TO COME IS.
I QUESTION HOW DO I KNOW I WILL MEET HER AGAIN ( I WANT TO BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO FEEL I HAVE LOST HER FOREVER ) BUT I DO NOT KNOW.
MY MOTHER DIED WHEN MY TWIN BROTHER AND I BORN, I TRIED TO GO BACK WITH HYPNOSIS TO THE HOUR AFTER I WAS BORN THAT SHE HELD ME, BUT I COULD NOT.
THROUGH JEWISH MEDITATION AND PRAYER I HAVE TRIED TO MEET HER IN MY DREAMS BUT I COULD NOT, AS G-D DOES NOT LET ME.
WHEN I GO TO A SHIVA VISIT I TELL THEM OR THE PERSON THAT THE PERSON YOU LOVED, WILL STAY IN YOUR MIND FOREVER, AND YOU SHOULD LIVE WITH THAT.
WHAT GOES ON, ON THE OTHER SIDE NO ONE KNOWS AND WHAT THE TORAH TELLS US WE HAVE TO BELIEVE BUT WE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND.

I have to agree with Rabbi Lock on this one. It is very unsafe to go into the sea off the Israeli coast without a trained lifeguard. People should not go out into the the sea. The Israeli tv constantly tells people not to swim in certain areas. There are plenty of mikvaot in Israel without having to immerse in the sea.

THANK YOU FOR SEEING MY POINT, AND BEING HONEST THAT YOU AGREE WITH ME, MY BLOGS AIM IS TO SHOW DIFFERENT WAY OF THINKING.
AND THEY DO NOT WIN THE ARGUMENT BY INSULTING ME.
