EMUNA IN HASHEM

THIS STORY WAS TOLD BY THE DIVREI CHAIM OF TZANZ ZT"L

THERE WAS A POOR WOMAN WHO FOUND AN EGG. HER HUNGRY CHILDREN WERE HAPPY BECAUSE THEY ASSUMED THAT THEIR MOTHER WILL DIVIDE THE EGG BETWEEN THEM.

BUT THEIR MOTHER HAD OTHER PLANS , WE WILL PLACE THE EGG UNDER OUR NEIGHBOR'S CHICKEN AND LET IT HATCH, WE WILL THEN LET THE CHICKEN . BECOME AN ADULT,AND IT WILL LAY EGGS OF ITS OWN THOSE EGGS WILL BECOME MORE CHICKENS.

SOON WE WILL HAVE MANY CHICKENS AND MANY EGGS, WE WILL SELL THEM FOR CATTLE, THE CATTLE WILL HAVE CHILDREN AND WE WILL HAVE MANY SHEEP AND COWS.

WE WILL SELL THEM TO BUY LAND, SHE WENT ON AND ON DESCRIBING HER FUTURE WEALTH, THEN THE EGG FELL AND ALL PLANS VANISHED.

AS THE SONG GOES THE FUTURE IS NOT OURS TO SEE THAT IS WHAT IS HARD IN EMUNA .

IN LIFE WE HAVE TO MAKE PLANS THAT IS HOW LIFE GOES, BU WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THE FUTURE IS NOT OURS THE FUTURE BELONGS TO G-D AND HE MAY HAVE DIFFERENT PLANS.

Oh Rabbi Lock, this made me laugh. I know it shouldn't. Why do the outcomes have to be tough though?

PEOPLE LIKE TO LIVE IN DREAMS AND THEY THINK THEY ARE GOING TO COME TRUE.
I ONLY EXPLAIN THE TRUTH AND THE WAY LIFE IS.
WE PLAN AND PLAN AND WE ARE UPSET WHEN THEY DO NOT COME TRUE
LEAVE THE PLANING OF LIFE TO G-D.
AS THE SONG GOES THE FUTURE IS NOT OURS TO SEE.
