I HAVE ASKED AND HEARD IN MANCHESTER THAT THIS CASE IS STILL PENDING IN THE COURTS.
WHEN THE ENGLISH COURTS DO NOT WANT TO SAY THAT THE LAW IS AN ASS THEY JUST LEAVE THE CASE P[ENDING.

NO IT IS NOT PENDING IN THE COURTS. THEY RECEIVED AN ABSOLUTE DISCHARGE. USUAL RUBBISH FROM YOUR SOURCES AND YOUR BLOG. FORTUNATELY YOU HAVE NOT USED YOUR USUAL FOUL LANGUAGE THIS TIME.

MANCHESTER NEWS
RELIEF AT HATZOLAH ACQUITTAL

A VOLUNTEER emergency medic has spoken of his relief after a judge ruled a complete discharge to Jewish ambulance service Hatzolah.

The Court of Appeal earlier this month ruled that the service would no longer be able to use blue lights on its vehicles.

Mancunians Michael Issler and Mordechai Bamberger had originally been acquitted by a magistrates court in October, but the Crown Prosecution Service appealed against the judgement.

But on Monday, Judge Paul Richardson at Manchester Magistrates Court, gave the duo a complete discharge.

Mr Issler, who has been involved with Hatzolah for more than 10 years, told the Jewish Telegraph: “The judge said it would not be in the public interest to prosecute. We are pleased that commonsense has been shown.”

Earlier this month the court heard that in October 2012, Mr Issler was seen driving a vehicle fitted with a siren and a blue warning beacon — contrary to the law.

Judge Richardson had originally cleared Mr Issler and Mr Bamberger of using blue lights and sirens illegally.

He also rejected police claims that Hatzolah was not using vehicles as ambulances.

Mr Issler said: “We are now in negotiations with police officials to help us move forward and work together with them.”

Hatzolah has been established in Manchester, London and Gateshead for more than 35 years.

ENGLISH LAW IS NOT AN ASS. BE THANKFUL.
