Reb Gaby,allow me to state the following.It's obvious from the way you write about Rav Pinchos Roberts that you have a personal issue with him.In my humble opinion it is still not correct to lambast and ridicule him so.Wether you like it or not he is a talmid chochom,and has been a Rov of a kehilla for 50+ years,so there must be something to him....Before i continue i must state that i have had no personal connection to him,i vaguely remember him from his years in Gateshead kollel when i was a little kid (some will say that i still am) but to have a go at him from this forum is a little cowardice,dare i say it...Walk into Hendon Adass one sunny shabbos morning,(preferably not during laining),clap on the bimah and let him have it!....That way he'll get your message kloor in doitlich,not here where he doesn't see it....When you have an issue with a yochid which you feel strongly about,don't be afraid,"gebem in punim arain!"..When it's against a rabim,thats another thing,a yochid can't take on a rabim and win if he knows whats good for him,so then you have to fight them from this forum,not that it's gonna help very much.....Just imagine if someone had a public go at someone you respect,what would your reaction be?....Lemoshol someone has an issue with Ger,and writes derogadory remarks against the Rebbe no less,you'de quite rightly be noikem like Pinchos (excuse the pun,really not intented)....It's nice that we have a "loichem milchemes hashem" like yourself to replace Reb Yerachmiel Yisroel Yitschok z"l,but my dear friend there is a yiddisher way to do it.Thanks for hearing me out.

Well,well,well....I didn't know that,although i think you did write about this in an earlier blog which i didn't go into.....If it was takke azoy,all i can say is that the Rabbi certainly didn't learn to be like this from his above mentioned Gateshead days,because one simply comes out of that town a godol batorah and in middos toivos,such as yours truly......Those middos he must have aquired elsewhere....While he was in the kollel he was rubbing shoulders with great rabbonim such as Rav Ch Ehrentreau shlito,Rav M.Solomon shlito,Rav Z.Gelley shlito,Rav E.Friefeld shlito,and the rabbonim Sh.Bitton and Y.Toledano zt"l and many others i can't recall now who certainly were'nt like that...
