An Erev Shabbos El Al Tale – Assisting to Honor Shabbos

A group of about 50 chareidim landed on erev Shabbos in Ben-Gurion International Airport after a flight from London was delayed. The plane landed at 4:25PM officially, but they actually got off the flight and hit the ground it was closer to 4:40PM.
Berela Yakobovitz of Zaka’s 410 Team was on hand to meet them to get them to Bnei Brak before shekiyah. A bus was waiting as they disembarked, expediting passport control at that location, to whisk them to Bnei Brak.
Passengers boarded on Friday morning at 9:00am London time, 11:00am Jerusalem time, and once again, a delay. They finally departed at 12:25pm Israel time for the four-hour flight.
Some of the frum passengers inquired on board, and they were told not to worry, that there was no chance of chilul Shabbos, explaining El Al’s Rabbi Hayut and others would be meeting them in Ben-Gurion to make sure everything runs smoothly.
At 5:00, a number of minutes before shekiyah, they got off the bus at Bar Ilan Interchange and began walking, men, women and children heading to the Vishnitz Hotel in the Torah city.
