Acheinu Bnei Yisrael
It is with a heavy heart that I write to you about three beautiful children that have been forced out of their school. These children, despite being from both wonderful and chashuva families, were sent home from school over the past three and four weeks because their parents could unfortunately not meet their tuition payments. Nothing could be more detrimental to the educational success, self-confidence and self-esteem of these three children than to be removed from school when they were learning and behaving well. I personally know these families well, and am fully aware of each of their respective situations, circumstances, and the unfortunate cause of their financial distress. While not making light of the families’ dire financial situation, I must now focus exclusively on the plight of these three innocent children that are each day being emotionally traumatized and subjected to severe spiritual damage by the events and circumstances they find themselves. At this very moment, each of the three children are sitting in their respective homes twenty-four hours a day – a condition that is terribly unhealthy for any child, especially when together with financially stressed parents. These children desperately need our help. This is truly an emergency situation, and time is of the essence.
CLICK HERE to help these children
The Skvere Dayan, HaRav Yechiel Mechel Steinmetz, stands together with me in assisting these children and to raise the funds needed to return them immediately to a classroom setting and for them to remain as such for the remainder of the school year.
Rav Steinmetz and I are asking you to contribute now and spare these children further suffering, damage, and embarrassment. Please donate now and you will have a hand in a tremendous mitzvah and be a part of all the spiritual and material successes these three children will have throughout their lives, and for their generations to follow.
May Hashem bless you and continue to bless you and your dear family with health, long life and Kol Tuv.
Mashgiach of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas & Rav of Khal Emunas Yisroel.
Rabbi Yechiel Mechel Steinmetz,
Skvere Dayan of Boro Park and Rav of the Bonei Olam Organization.

HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Zilberstein: Parents Who Buy Child An Electric Bicycle ‘May Become Partners In Murder’
(Monday, October 10th, 2016 07:30 PM)
HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Zilberstein recently gave a psak halacha that parents may not buy an electric bicycle for their children. The rav compares doing so to placing a loaded gun in the child’s hands, stating such parents may become “partners in murder”.
The rav address parents who give in to the demands of a child who wants such a bicycle, explaining they may be viewed as “partners in murder” and held responsible as such. Rav Zilberstein is a member of the Degel Hatorah Moetzas Gedolei Hatorah as well as Mora D’asra of the Ramat Elchanan neighborhood of Bnei Brak.
The rav was quoted by Yated Neeman, asked if parents may buy an electric bicycle for a child or alternatively, to permit a child to ride on one. The rav adds that in response to continued efforts by a child to persuade them to buy the bicycle, they must explain it is comparable to a loaded gun and therefore, out of the question

OBSESSION
I HEARD A VERY GOOD EXPLANATION ABOUT THE MOBILE PHONE, AND IT IS NOT THE IPHONE OR INTERNET THAT IS THE CURSE TO YIDISKITE.
IT IS THE ACTUAL OBSESSION TO THE PHONE EVEN THE KOSHER PHONE, WE CAN NOT LIVE WITH OUT IT.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE, MEN AND WOMEN, LADIES AND BOYS, WHO WALK AROUND CONSTANTLY IN THE STREETS AND AT HOME WITH A PHONE PINED TO THERE EARS CONSTANTLY, WHEN IT COMES SHABBOS, THEY CAN NOT JUST DROP THERE OBSESSION WITH THE PHONE AND KEEP SHABBOS PROPERLY.
I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE ANSWER THE PHONE IN MIDDLE OF DAVENING OR LEARNING IN KOLLEL, THEY HAVE THE PHONE LYING ON THE TABLE IN FRONT OF THEM, OR WALKING IN THE STREET HOLDING IT IN THEIR HANDS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CALL.
WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS HOW DO THESE PEOPLE CONTROL THEMSELVES ON OUR HOLY SHABBOS IN THE TOILET OR IN A ROOM WERE NO ONE CAN SEE THEM.
I WAS LISTENING TO A PHONE INN PROGRAM ON THE RADIO, THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE TERRIBLE ADDICTION TO DAY, TO THE MOBILE PHONE THEY LOOK AT IT EVERY FEW MINUTES, IS THERE A MESSAGE, THEY WERE SAYING IT IS LIKE GOING TO THE FRONT DOOR EVERY FIVE MINUTES TO SEE IF SOMEONE IS THERE.
HE SAID THE PEOPLE ARE SO ADDICTED, IT IS LIKE DRUGS THEY WALK IN THE STREETS AND THEY DO NOT SEE ANY ONE, RIDE THERE BIKES, AND DRIVE THERE CARS, PEOPLE ARE GOING MAD WITH THERE PHONES.

The Most Critical 120 Hours of the Year
The Yom HaDin is approaching. With so much important preparation still left to do – What are you doing to take the mitzvah of tzedaka seriously?
Rav Chaim has come out with an extremely powerful statement in an extremely crucial time that could change the lives of thousands of talmidei chachamim, widows & orphans.
The haskama below will change the way you see tzedaka.
RAV CHAIM, THE SAR HATORAH SHLIT”A WILL DAVEN ON ROSH HASHANAH FOR ALL THOSE WHO GIVE TO KUPAT HA’IR IN THESE HOURS BEFORE THE CHAG.
NOT ONLY THAT, BUT HE SAYS THAT A PERSON SHOULD GIVE $180 EACH MONTH.
CLICK HERE TO ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST
Rosh Hashanah is an immeasurably serious day — Do not miss this fleeting opportunity.
Just days before we will stand before Hashem and receive the decrees that will be on us for the year to come, think of those who are too poor and needy to provide for themselves.
Kupat Ha’ir provides thousands of families with warm homes and hot food over the yomim tovim, because no child deserves to be hungry on Rosh Hashanah.
If you give to this important cause, imagine the Rosh Hashanah that you will have, knowing that the gadol Rav Chaim Kanievsky shlit”a is davening on your behalf, and that suffering families in Israel are benefitting from your generosity. This is truly the way to start a new year — of connection to the gedolim, and of giving to those who are in desperate need.
GIVE NOW AND HAVE THE ZECHUS TO BE A PART OF THIS INCREDIBLE MITZVAH.

GABY LOCK SAYS:
DO YOU NOT THINK THAT YOU CAN DONATE, AND RAV CHAIM KANIEVSKY SHLIT"A WILL DAVEN ON YOUR BEHALF, AND YOU STILL WILL BE SUFFERING.
YOUR CONNECTION TO A GADOL OR GEDOLIM WILL NOT HELP YOU HAVE A GOOD YEAR
A HUMAN CAN NOT UNDERSTAND HASHEM AND THIS WORLD
YOU HAVE TO ALWAYS REMEMBER A HUMAN CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOOD OR BAD TO HASHEM.
HASHEM DOES NEED YOUR GENEROSITY ! ! !

UMAN

This past summer we attempted to organize a charter flight to the Zion of Rabeini Hakodosh so that our community can travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah. With Hashem’s help we made contact with a reputable charter company that was willing to provide us with a reasonably priced flight option that would be best suitable for our community. - See more at: http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/headlines-breaking-stories/468715/charter-flight-with-hundreds-of-passengers-from-nyc-to-uman-cancelled-hours-before-take-off.html#sthash.icvYM0U7.dpuf

RABBI SHLOMO BAUMGARTEN
I REMEMBER YEARS AGO WHEN RABBI SHLOMO BAUMGARTEN WAS ROV IN THE SYNAGOGUE, KNOWN AS ZEIRA AGUDA 69 LORDSHIP ROAD.
THERE WAS NO STRIMEL , HE DID NOT EVEN LET HIS SON YIDDEL WHO BECAME A BELZER CHOSID GO IN A STRIMEL.
A FEW WEEKS A GO I WAS AT THE WEDDING WHEN RABBI ZEV FELDMAN, THE ROV WHO TOOK OVER FROM RABBI SHLOMO BAUMGARTEN, MARRIED HIS YOUNGEST SON NEARLY ALL HIS CONGREGATION WERE IN STRIMALS.
MY QUESTION IS WHO IS RIGHT ? ?
RABBI SHLOMO BAUMGARTEN OR
RABBI ZEV FELDMAN ? ?
I ONCE HEARD A STORY THAT THE ENGLISH JEWS WERE NOT ASHAMED OF BEING RECOGNIZED AS BEING JEWISH, AND THAT SAVED THEM FROM THE FATE OF EUROPEAN JEWS.
THE JEWS FROM EUROPE WERE VERY FRUM JEWS BUT WHEN THEY WERE IN THE STREET THEY HID THEIR JEWISH IDENTITY.
THE JEWS OF TO DAY ARE NOT AS FRUM AS THE PARENTS, BUT THEY ARE PROUD JEWS, WHO DO NOT HIDE THERE PIOUS, STRIMAL, AND JEWISH IDENTITY.

THE CHAZON ISH
REB CHAIM VOLOZHINER ZY"A
SAID ONE MUST KNOW THAT HE DID NOT COME DOWN TO THE WORLD FOR HIMSELF.
HE CAME DOWN TO THE WORLD IN ORDER TO HELP OTHERS.
HE EXPLAINED, " A PERSON IS NOT IN THIS WORLD FOR HIMSELF. "
HE CAME TO THIS WORLD TO HELP OTHERS, WHEN THEY NEED YOU, YOU SHOULD GO.
OBVIOUSLY, EACH SITUATION SHOULDBE EVALUATED SEPARATELY; THERE IS NO BLANKET RULE FOR EVERYONE. HOWEVER, IT IS IMPORTANT TO GRASP THE PRINCIPLE:
WE ARE NOT HERE SOLELY FOR OURSELVES. WE ARE HERE PRIMARILY TO HELP OTHERS.
THEREFORE, KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO BE A BENEFIT FOR OTHERS.

JEWISH CHILDREN ARE TREATED LIKE RUBBISH
The anticipated Yom Limud and Tefillah has already begun generating a tremendous atmosphere of goodwill and achdus amongst Klal Yisrael.
THE FIRST PLACE THAT NEEDS TO SIGN UP ARE THE SCHOOLS AND EDUCATORS WHO TREAT JEWISH PARENTS AND CHILDREN LIKE RUBBISH
A peek into just a few of the institutions in America that have signed up to participate and take advantage of the auspicious time to daven with so many likeminded Yiden.
The climax of the Yom Limud and Tefillah will be a visit by a group of Gedolei Rabbanim to Radin who will daven at the kever of the Chofetz Chaim and at the Yeshiva of Radin on behalf of Klal Yisrael. Rabbanim slated to attend include HaGaon HaRav Chizkiyahu Yosef Mishkovsky, shlita, a close talmid of the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman, shlita, and menahel ruchani of Yeshiva Orchos Torah, HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Eliezer Stern, shlita, Rav of Western Bnei Brak and a close talmid of HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Wosner, zt”l, HaGaon HaRav Avraham Salim, shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Me’or HaTorah, HaGaon HaRav Aryeh Zilberstein, shlita, Rav of the Gerer Community in Bnei Brak, HaGaon HaRav Simcha Hakohen Kook, shlita, Rav of Rechovot, and HaGaon HaRav Shimon Galei, shlita, Rav of the Osem Complex in Bnei Brak.
The distinguished delegation will also journey to the town of Mir where they will daven at the kevarim of the great Mirer Mashgiach, HaGaon HaRav Yeruchem Levovitz, zt”l, and the Rav of Mir, HaGaon HaRav Tzvi Hirsch Kamai, zt”l. Tefillos will also be recited at the kever achim at the Ninth Fort in Kovno, where HaGaon HaRav Elchonon Wasserman, hy”d, was murdered al kiddush Hashem.
Without a doubt the climax of the journey will be the tefillos and words of hisorerus at the kever of the Chofetz Chaim to be delivered by Rav Aryeh Zilberstein, Rav Avraham Salim and the ne’ilah shmuess by Rav Mishkovsky.
GABY LOCK SAYS :
THEY CAN PRAY TILL TOMRROW IF THESE SO CALLED GEDOLIM DO NOT SEE THAT EVERY JEWISH FRUM CHILD HAS A SCHOOL.
AND JEWISH CHILDREN AND PARENTS CRY TO G-D IN PAIN MY CHILD HAS NO SCHOOL,
DO YOU THINK HASHEM LISTENS TO THEIR PRAYERS ? ? ?

Not That Jews Need Any Convincing – Sefer Torah From 2,000 Years Ago Found To Have ‘Same Exact Text As Current Sefer Torah’
(Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 12:00 PM)
The charred lump of a 2,000-year-old scroll sat in an Israeli archaeologist’s storeroom for decades, too brittle to open. Now, new imaging technology has revealed what was written inside: the earliest evidence of a biblical text in its standardized form.
The passages from the Book of Leviticus, scholars say, offer the first physical evidence of what has long been believed: that the version of the Hebrew Bible used today goes back 2,000 years.
The discovery, announced in a Science Advances journal article by researchers in Kentucky and Jerusalem on Wednesday, was made using “virtual unwrapping,” a 3D digital analysis of an X-ray scan. Researchers say it is the first time they have been able to read the text of an ancient scroll without having to physically open it.
“You can’t imagine the joy in the lab,” said Pnina Shor of the Israel Antiquities Authority, who participated in the study.
The digital technology, funded by Google and the U.S. National Science Foundation, is slated to be released to the public as open source software by the end of next year.
Researchers hope to use the technology to peek inside other ancient documents too fragile to unwrap, like some of the Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus scrolls carbonized in the Mt. Vesuvius volcano eruption in 79 CE. Researchers believe the technology could also be applied to the fields of forensics, intelligence, and antiquities conservation.
The biblical scroll examined in the study was first discovered by archaeologists in 1970 at Ein Gedi, the site of an ancient Jewish community near the Dead Sea. Inside the ancient synagogue’s ark, archaeologists found lumps of scroll fragments.
The synagogue was destroyed in an ancient fire, charring the scrolls. The dry climate of the area kept them preserved, but when archaeologists touched them, the scrolls would begin to disintegrate. So the charred logs were shelved for nearly half a century, with no one knowing what was written inside.
Last year, Yosef Porath, the archaeologist who excavated at Ein Gedi in 1970, walked into the Israel Antiquities Authority’s Dead Sea Scrolls preservation lab in Jerusalem with boxes of the charcoal chunks. The lab has been creating hi-resolution images of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the earliest copies of biblical texts ever discovered, and he asked researchers to scan the burned scrolls.
“I looked at him and said, ‘you must be joking,’” said Shor, who heads the lab.
She agreed, and a number of burned scrolls were scanned using X-ray-based micro-computed tomography, a 3D version of the CT scans hospitals use to create images of internal body parts. The images were then sent to William Brent Seales, a researcher in the computer science department of the University of Kentucky. Only one of the scrolls could be deciphered.
Using the “virtual unwrapping” technology, he and his team painstakingly captured the three-dimensional shape of the scroll’s layers, using a digital triangulated surface mesh to make a virtual rendering of the parts they suspected contained text. They then searched for pixels that could signify ink made with a dense material like iron or lead. The researchers then used computer modeling to virtually flatten the scroll, to be able to read a few columns of text inside.
“Not only were you seeing writing, but it was readable,” said Seales. “At that point we were absolutely jubilant.”
The researchers say it is the first time a biblical scroll has been discovered in an ancient synagogue’s holy ark, where it would have been stored for prayers, and not in desert caves like the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The discovery holds great significance for scholars’ understanding of the development of the Hebrew Bible, researchers say.
In ancient times, many versions of the Hebrew Bible circulated. The Dead Sea Scrolls, dating to as early as the 3rd century B.C., featured versions of the text that are radically different than today’s Hebrew Bible.
Scholars have believed the Hebrew Bible in its standard form first came about some 2,000 years ago, but never had physical proof, until now, according to the study. Previously the oldest known fragments of the modern biblical text dated back to the 8th century.
The text discovered in the charred Ein Gedi scroll is “100 percent identical” to the version of the Book of Leviticus that has been in use for centuries, said Dead Sea Scroll scholar Emmanuel Tov from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, who participated in the study.
“This is quite amazing for us,” he said. “In 2,000 years, this text has not changed.”
Noam Mizrahi, a Dead Sea Scrolls expert at Tel Aviv University who did not participate in the study, called it a “very, very nice find.” He said the imaging technology holds great potential for more readings of unopened Dead Sea Scrolls.
“It’s not only what was found, but the promise of what else it can uncover, which is what will turn this into an exciting discovery,” Mizrahi said.

WILL THE NOT FRUM JEWS KEEP THE TORAH ?
I DO NOT NEED THIS TO BELIEVE IN HASHEM.
SEFER CHAIM TOVIM
Reverse The Decree : All Children Deserve Hot Food on Yom Tov
Thousands of desperate families are begging you to reach out and help them.
The opportunity to change the fate of the 6,000 families
e we will stand before the Melech and our future course will beThere is no way to know what gezeiros chas v'shalom exist in shomayim against us and those we love. This is the time of year to take these matters seriously, as we near the Yom Ha'Din wher decided. How quickly the year has gone by, how quickly the promises and determinations of last year have faded, and here we stand once again, empty handed, at the trial that has the power to shape our future.
It is not always simple to find ways to prepare during Elul, but one thing is very clear: Thousands of desperate families are begging you to reach out and help them.
The opportunity to change the fate of the 6,000 families supported by Kupat Ha'ir lies in your hands. Feed these hungry children, and give a glimmer of hope to their parents.
Now you can come to the Yom HaDin with the smiling eyes of these children at your defense. For yourself, and for these families, this is your chance to change the lives of children who live in fear of hunger. The expenses of the yomim tovim are not easy for any of us. But for these families it is a matter of the most basic necessities.
Please give generously, and may these donations be a zechus for you to be written in the Sefer Chaim Tovim for a year of brocha, yeshua and shalom
WERE ARE ALL THESE GEDOLIM WHEN THE HUNGRY CHILDREN FOR EDUCATION ARE NOT GIVEN A SCHOOL TO GO LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

NEARER TO HASHEM
I SAW THIS STATEMENT :
SOMETIMES YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU WANT, BY USING FORCE, OR BEING STUBBORN TRYING TO IMPOSING OR ENFORCE YOUR WILL ON OTHERS ( LIKE SCHOOLS, SYNAGOGUES, LITVISH, CHASIDUS, ETC,ETC. )
DEMANDING RESPECT,AND MAKING A SCENE WHEN OTHERS DO NOT, DO WHAT YOU WANT.
I HOPE IN THE NEW YEAR WE WILL PRAY TO HASHEM, AND LEARN THAT EVERYTHING IS FROM HIM, AND MY AIM IN LIFE IS TO GET NEARER TO HASHEM.
P.S.
REMEMBER BY PUSHING YOUR FELLOW JEW OR NONE JEW AWAY YOU DO NOT BECOME NEARER ! !
Monday 19 September 2016
EVERYTHING IS FROM HASHEM
TO DO CHESSED PROPERLY, ONE SHOULD ATTEMPT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HIS FELLOWMAN IS GOING THROUGH. ( ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN ARE NOT ACCEPTED IN SCHOOLS )
ONE SHOULD TRY TO PLACE HIMSELF IN THIS FELLOW MAN'S SHOES,AND THEN HE WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO HELP.
THE MAIN THING IS TO BE DEDICATED TO HELPING OTHERS.
EVERYONE IS IN NEED OF SOME SORT OF HELP, AND IF YOU ARE DEVOTED TO HELPING OTHERS,YOU WILL HAVE MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO DO SO.
THERE IS YET ONE MORE COUNSEL FOR THOSE DEALING WITH WORRIES AND CONCERNS, AND THAT IS TO KNOW THAT EVERYTHING COMES FROM HASHEM ( THAT EVERY SITUATION A PERSON FINDS HIM OR HER SELF IN IS A TEST IN LIFE ) AND THAT EVERYTHING IS FOR THE GOOD.
WHY SHOULD WE BE UPSET ABOUT THE PAST, OR WORRIED ABOUT THE FUTURE ?
WHATEVER HAPPENED, AND EVERYTHING THAT WILL OCCUR,IS PART OF HASHEM'S DIVINE PLAN,FOR OUR BENEFIT.

TORAH RULES
Polls Show Most American And Israeli Jews Favor Israel’s Recognition Of Non-Orthodox Jewry
(Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 08:30 PM)
Polls commissioned by the Jerusalem Post in partnership with the American Jewish Committee (AJC) scheduled to be released on Friday, 13 Elul, show a majority of Jews in the United States and Israel favor official State of Israel recognition of non-religious Jewry, calling for an end to the “Orthodox monopoly over religion-and-state issues in Israel”. The poll shows that 74% of American Jews and 62% of Israeli Jews believe the time has come for official State of Israel recognition of the Reform and Conservative Movements
While one may argue the poll is taken by the AJC and not all the Jews who voted are halachically Jews and so-forth, but the fact remains that significant numbers of Jews in the two largest Jewish populations around the world favor the move.
The poll also highlights the growing tensions between these movements and the State of Israel amid an awareness the Reform and Conservative Movements, their leaders and members, are major contributors to the State of Israel and thereby carry significant weight with the state’s decision-makers. This has been evident in Israel during recent months in the ongoing controversy surrounding an egalitarian prayer area near the Kosel. YWN-ISRAEL reported- earlier this week that the government coalition came under fire in a session of the Supreme Court addressing a petition on the egalitarian area and government foot-dragging. The court made it clear that it was not going to tolerate this and that an area must be set into place to permit mixed and non-Orthodox services for those wishing to take advantage of it.
The Post survey adds that 70% of US Jewry and 61% of Israeli Jewry support an egalitarian prayer area at the Kosel Plaza.
48% of American Jews believe that the recognition of frum Jewry as the official Jewry is responsible for weakened relations with the Diaspora Jewish community and 39% do not see this as being so.
Most Israeli Jews, 54%, remain opposed to exclusive Orthodox control of state religious services as has been the case since the establishment of the state.
The poll was conducted by SSRS Research Company and 1,002 Jews over the age of 18 responded in the United States. The margin of error is +/- 3.5%.
The poll in Israel was conducted by the Rafi Smith Institute, questioning 500 adults over 18, with the margin of error reported to be +/- 4.5%.
The J. Post is planning to release the in-depth results of the polls in its Friday magazine.

( AVOS 3;12 )
THINK ABOUT THE FORMS OF CHESSED THAT YOU ARE PARTICULARLY TALENTED IN, AND CONSIDER INCREASING THEM.
DOING CHESSED IS NOT ALWAYS VERY DIFFICULT.
OFTEN A FEW KIND WORDS AND A HAPPY SMILE CAN DO WONDERS FOR ONE'S FELLOW MAN.
WE SHOULD THEREFORE BRING HAPPINESS TO EVERYONE, BECAUSE ONE CAN NEVER KNOW WHO IS IN NEED FOR A KIND WORD AND ENCOURAGEMENT
AS IT STATES IN PIRKEI AVOS,
" GREAT EVERY PERSON WITH HAPPINESS " ( AVOS 3;12 )
BECAUSE YOU CAN NEVER KNOW WHO NEEDS IT.
WHAT A HOLY M,AN
Rav Chaim Zanvl Abramowitz (Yiddish: חיים זאנוויל אבראמאוויטש, Hebrew: חיים זנוויל אברהמוביץ), known as the Ribnitzer Rebbe (ריבניצער רבי), was considered a great Hasidic tzadik and miracle worker from Rybnitsa (now in Transnistria, Moldova).
Rav Abramowitz was a prominent follower of Rabbi Avrohom Matisyohu of Shtefanesht.[1]
He lived in the USSR under Joseph Stalin's rule and lived a fully Jewish religious life. He served as mohel and shochet.
He fasted very often, and immersed himself many times daily in water that was sometimes only accessible by chopping away very thick ice. His Tikkun Chatzos(midnight prayer service) in sackcloth and ashes regularly lasted 6–7 hours, sometimes stretching as long as 12. He cried so much during Tikkun Chatzos that when he was done, the tears and ashes mingled so that he was sitting in mud.[2]
The Russian gentiles feared and revered him. The KGB brought their wives and children for blessings and experienced miracles.[2]
He left Russia in 1970 and moved to the Mattersdorf section of Jerusalem, where he lived for a few years before moving to the United States. He lived inMiami, Los Angeles, Boro Park, Seagate, Brooklyn, and finally settled in Monsey, New York.
Rav Abramowitz died on Isru Chag Succos, 1995, in Monsey, New York. He is buried in the Vizhnitzer Cemetery.
There is a Yeshiva in monsey that is named after him Talmud Torah Tashbar Nachlas Chaim over 600 children attend this yeshiva
They are currently building a campus where he lived on 55 Old Nyack Tpk
His Gravesite has turned into a place for prayer where thousands gather on specific days.
