Thief Who Stole Money From THOUSANDS Of People Buying Tickets To Uman BOUGHT HIMSELF A PORSCHE
A Jerusalem police spokesman reported on Wednesday that a 29-year-old suspect is in custody, a man who appears to have purchased himself a Porsche with money he embezzled from thousands of unsuspecting people wishing to travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
The luxury vehicle was confiscated, and it will be sold to help authorities payback some of the victims.
Police report the man in custody is one of a number of suspects involved, apparently the main suspect, and bought a vehicle in Israel with a price tag over NIS 400,000.
The money he collected from travelers seeking to go to the tziyun of Rav Nachman ZT”L was channeled via a travel agency abroad, a fake company set up to launder the money.
