AFTER WATCHING THIS INTERVIEW,  WHEN I WAS IN MANCHESTER I WENT OVER TO RABBI COHEN AND TALKED TO HIM 

I WONDER IF SOME OF THE PEOPLE WHO  TORCHED HIS CAR ETC,ETC, HAVE EVER HAD A TALK WITH HIM HE IS  A VERY NORMAL PERSON  WHO JUST HAS DIFFERENT  OPINIONS TO ME

I CAN UNDERSTAND HIM AS I HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIKE MY OPINIONS ON THE BLOG THEY DO NOT WRITE THEIR NAMES THEY JUST INSULT ME .

AS I ALWAYS SAY THESE JEWISH PEOPLE ARE JUST COWARDS, ( BABY'S SCARED TO GIVE NAMES ) RABBI COHEN IS TRUE HERO.

THE PROBLEM OF THE YOUTH OF TO DAY

I LOOK AT THE PROBLEM OF THE YOUTH OF TO DAY IT BOILS DOWN TO ONE PROBLEM.

THEY HAVE NOT LEARNED TO BEND ( FOLLOW ) RULES THEY WANT TO GO TO BED WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE, THEY GET UP WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT.

THE ORTHODOX CAN NOT EVEN BEND TO KEEP SHABBOS PROPERLY, THERE IS EVEN MORE, I TOLD A YOUNG COUPLE YOU ARE DIFFERENTLY  FRUM THEN YOUR PARENTS , YOU GO WITH A LITTLE KIPA YOUR WIFE DOES NOT COVER HER HAIR SHE WARES SHORT SKIRTS, ETC, ETC. YOU CAN DO ALL THIS AT HOME  

BUT WHEN YOU COME TO YOUR PARENTS GO , DRESSED AND BEHAVE LIKE THEY WANT, A FRUM WAY. BUT THE YOUNGSTERS ARE SO STUBBORN AND WILL NOT BEND, THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG IN OUR SOCIETY THEY WANT AND HAVE TO GO DRESSED IN THEIR WAY, WHEN THEY COME TO THEIR PARENTS, THIS CAUSES A BIG RIFT BETWEEN THE PARENTS AND CHILDREN,

LATER ON IN LIFE THIS BEHAVIOR  BECOMES THE CAUSE OF BRAKE DOWN IN THE RELATIONSHIP OF THEIR OWN MARRIAGE, AND THEY GET DIVORCED

GETTING ON WITH YOUR PARTNER AND RESPECTING EACH OTHER AND THINKING I DO NOT ALWAYS NEED TO GET MY WAY

WITHIN THE STAMFORD HILL KEHILLA THERE IS DEEP SHOCK, BUT AT THE SAME TIME TIME SOLIDARITY WITH THE BELZER KEHILLA  FOLLOWING THIS MISFORTUNE THAT HAS BEFALLEN THEM.

BUT BELZ HAS TO REMEMBER THAT THEY HAD NO SOLIDARITY  IN THEIR BEHAVIOR TO THE PEOPLE OF THE KEHILLA  TWO MONTHS AGO WHEN THEIR REBBE WAS IN LONDON, BLOCKING  THE STREETS , NOISE, ETC,ETC,

LOTS OF OTHER REBBES COME TO LONDON AND DO NOT DISTURB THE REST OF THE KEHILLA.

I FEEL SORRY FOR THEM EVEN THOUGH  THEY HAVE HURT ME A LOT PRIVATLEY AND I AM SURE PEOPLE IN THE KEHILLA FEEL SORRY FOR THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE A LOT DISTURBED BY THEIR BEHAVIOR WHEN THERE REBBE WAS HERE.

BUT I AM SURE THIS IS DEFINITELY  SOME PUNISHMENT FROM G-D , MY HASHEM HELP THEM THAT THEY AND ALL THE OTHERS TAKE A LESSON THAT WHEN YOU HURT YIDEN IT COMES BACK.

Bnei Barak - A long-running quarrel within the famed Ponovezeh Yeshiva in Bnei Barak has burst once again into bouts of violence and brawling among the two feuding sides loyal to two separate rabbis who both claim to head the institution.

On Sunday night, dozens of yeshiva students were involved in a fierce melee apparently over who which faction had the rights to lead the evening prayers. Some twenty students were reportedly injured during the fighting during which a prayer stand was thrown into a crowd of students and one of the yeshiva deans central to the conflict, Rabbi Shmuel Markowitz, was struck.

A student thought to be responsible for striking Rabbi Markowitz was arrested on Monday.

The latest skirmish follows a series of fights that have taken place in recent days and weeks which led last Thursday to a massive police operation in which several dozen yeshiva students were arrested for their part in the violence.

Most of those arrested were loyal to Rabbi Markowitz and his faction, known as “the terrorists.”

Those loyal to the faction of yeshiva president Rabbi Eliezer Kehanaman, son of Ponevezh founder Rabbi Avraham Kehanaman, along with Rabbis Gershon Edelstein and Baruch Dov Poborski are known as “the haters.”

Violence broke out again on Sunday night between the two factions over who would have the right to lead the evening prayers. The skirmish grew within the yeshiva halls during which Markowitz was hurt, allegedly by Rabbi Yossi Kehanaman, son of Preident Rabbi Eliezer Kehanaman.

Markowitz has now filed a complaint against the younger Kehanaman with the Bnei Brak police, although he has denied the charge and was released.

This led members of “the terrorists” faction to violently vandalize a dormitory belonging to “the haters.”

The dispute over the leadership of the yeshiva started back in 2001, with the death of Rabbi Elazar Menachem Shach, the undisputed dean of the Ponevezh Yeshiva and the spiritual head of the non-hassidic haredi community.

A power struggle for control over the yeshiva, its institutions and its valuable real estate ensued between one of the co-yeshiva deans Markovitz and yeshiva president Kahneman, along with rabbis and co-deans Edelstein Poborski.

Former leader of the non-hassidic haredi world the late Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv expressed his support for Markovitz, while most of the other leading rabbis in the haredi stronghold of Bnei Brak,have publicly supported Kahneman, who also has the backing of the veteran teaching staff of the yeshiva.

THE PROBLEM BY US YIDDEN

A riot broke out between the Chassidei Vishnitz (Reb Mendel) and talmidim of Yeshivas Eitz Chaim Bobov on Ezra Street in Bnei Brak on Motzei Shabbos.

According to a report released by Chadrei Chareidim, quoting “reliable testimonies”, a group of young men from the Bobov yeshiva near the Vishnitz Chassidus Center shouted at the Rebbe and his followers when they came out for Kiddush Levana. Although efforts were made to silence them, they continued to do so. In response, dozens of avreichim and students from Vishnitz came to the Bobov yeshiva building, beating the young men for insulting their rebbe’s kovod.

The report, states the Yeshiva’s Mashgiach was among those hit for not stopping the bochrim from doing what they did. In addition, the entrance to the yeshiva building was defaced as was the lobby inside.

A Vishnitz askan told Chadrei “They are ungrateful. We live with them for several years and maintained good relations. We helped them more than once. When they had a hachnasas Sefer Torah at the yeshiva building, requesting a large dance area we made the ‘Heichal HaTischen’ available to them.

The askan continues, “A few days ago, they had a blackout and it was impossible to continue learning without air conditioning. We opened a beis medrash that was shut, making it available to them. We didn’t expect such a payback”.
