Peleg Yerushalmi Seminary Girls are Being Tailed by IDF Military Police
Military police have reportedly been visiting homes belonging to the girls attending Ohel Rachel, which is affiliated with Peleg, demanding documentation proving the girls attend frum schools.
According to a Kikar Shabbos News report, Peleg in recent years operated the Ohel Rachel chain of schools in Bnei Brak and Yerushalayim, and the girls studying in those schools do not appear in the Ministry of Education database.
Unlike other seminaries in Israel, the schools in question are not registered with the system like other schools, and as such, the necessary forms are not sent automatically as is the case with the frum girl’s schools which adhere to the Gedolei Torah in Bnei Brak.
As such, IDF representatives have begun arriving at the homes of the girls, looking to determine if a girl in question is truly a frum girl.
For example, HaPeles reported on Sunday that IDF representatives arrived at the home of family Bernstein, from the kehilla of HaRav David Tzvi Karlstein ZT”L from Ashdod, asking for documents proving where girls attend school. They were told a declaration a girl is frum was sent by the parents, but they insisted on seeing proof of being a student in a particular seminary.
Peleg officials fear that at some point, IDF authorities may being making arrests at homes the girls are unable to provide the documents demanded.

Peleg Says DON’T VOTE, Right-Wing/Chareidi Coalition Would be “Dangerous”

Members of the Badatz Eida Chareidis, headed by HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss Shlita, have this week signed a harshly-worded letter prohibiting followers from participating in the upcoming election for 22nd Knesset.

Hasidic Jews in Brooklyn are said to be unhappy with being treated like they’re ‘on some sort of display’ as if they’re ‘in a zoo’ by tourists who flock to their neighborhoods to take photos of their traditional clothes and customs.
Residents of Orthodox communities in Williamsburg and Crown Heights told the New York Post that they are not amused by the way sightseeing tours bus hundreds of tourists into their neighborhoods for ‘contrast’ tours daily.

The Vishnitzer Rebbe Calls for Adding Tehillim for the Success of Elections
The Vishnitzer Rebbe Shlita on Thursday morning asked chassidim during shachris to add Tehillim Perek 121 every day until elections for Knesset. Election Day is Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
According to the Rebbe, the decision was made to add the daily perek Tehillim at the meeting of the Moetzas Gedolei Torah of Agudas Yisrael on Wednesday night. They admorim decided that the chapter of Tehillim should be recited by everyone daily until elections for the success of the chareidim in the election.
