STRAIGHT-UP HATE: Women’s Rights Groups Seem to Only Target the Chareidim

While women’s rights organizations in Israel have been on the warpath against chareidi concerts with separate seating, gender separation does not appear to be an issue for the women in the Arab sector, including the eastern capital. During bein hazmanim, the champions of women’s rights have taken their case to court in both Afula and Haifa, towards stopping chareidi concerts intended for the frum tzibur.
The women first took on a Moti Steinmetz concert in Afula because of the separate seating, then moving to a MBD concert in Haifa scheduled for earlier this week, which was canceled by a Haifa court.
Some are asking why the women, who claim to be so concerned with the discrimination against women continue to completely ignore the Arab sector, which does have gender-separation at times in events in Haifa and elsewhere.
What would be the reaction of these women if a branch of Bituach Leumi in a chareidi area had separate entrances for men and women? One might presume there would be an outcry followed by an immediate court petition to stop the practice. However, this is exactly what is taking place in one Bituach Leumi branch in the eastern capital, where the men and women maintain a distance from one another via separate entrances, yet there are no court petitions.
According to a Kikar Shabbos News report, they contacted a spokesperson for the women’s activists to comment on the situation at the Bituach Leumi office in East Jerusalem, but a response was not received.

THAT IS THE REASON WE HAVE TO VOTE ! ! !

Degel Hatorah Chairman Gafne Blasts Ruling Prohibiting MBD Concert

Degel Hatorah chairman MK Moshe Gafne spoke out regarding a Haifa court ruling to order the cancelation of Monday’s planned MBD concert in Haifa. Gafne shouted “what is this madness and how can we continue like this” in his response to the court ruling that a concert for the chareidi tzibur in accordance with the chareidi lifestyle is prohibited by the nation’s highest court.
Gafne decries how “singers are brought from around the world, from anywhere in the world with Chilul Shabbos, and this is okay. But when it comes to a number of men, in a closed hall, and to permit them to listen to their music isn’t permitted?”
He added, “Their culture is culture, but our culture is not culture”, warning of the dangerous process that has begun, insisting he will not permit this agenda to continue.
Gafne attacked the justices and the attorney general. He rejected “their culture” and we will bring a halt to what is taking place. He blasted the ongoing incitement against the chareidi tzibur, and the decision of the court prohibiting the planned men’s-only event in Haifa.

SEVENTY FIRES! Ramat Beit Shemesh Arsonists Identified as Group of Bored Chareidi Children

Over the past year more than 70 fires were started by arsonists in the vicinity of Ramat Beit Shemesh. As a result, police opened an investigation to discover the identity of the arsonists. Detectives were shocked to learn that the leading suspects behind the fires were seven children, aged 12 and three children aged 10 from the Chareidi community.
Police also discovered that motive behind the fires was boredom and a contest between the children. The police discovered that the children hid accelerate near their Talmud Torah and during recess or after the school day was over they rushed to a thicket and lit a fire so that they could watch firefighters in action.
In a number of the instances in which the children lit these fires, the firs grew large enough that they threatened the lives of people and wildlife. In some instances neighborhoods had to be evacuated including schools.
Due to the age of the children, their parents were called to the police station and the children had to be released under strict oversight and various conditions, including the intervention of social welfare.
A police spokesperson said: “This has been a very complex investigation during which we worked on various fronts in order to arrive at the identity of the arsonists. Sadly, it appears that these are acts of mischief that have caused an incredible amount of damage and could have caused the deaths of many people. We call upon parents to supervise their children and curb behaviors that could cause a danger to their immediate surroundings.”

THE M.B.D. CONCERTS ARE ONLY THE START

 Rabbi Gaby Lock said...
Towards the end of the deliberation in court Judge Elyakim said: “While each segment of the population does have the right to receive public funding for events for their community, I cannot be a part of allowing public funds to support an event that would injure or harm women. Should the Chareidim want to hold a concert that causes harm to another, then they should pay for it themselves.”

TEHILLIM – Chosson Critical After Airbag Failed to Deploy In Head-On Crash On Israel’s Route 89

Eleven Chareidim were injured in vehicular accident between private cars on motzei Shabbos on Israel’s Route 89, between Tzefas and Meron. The most seriously injured victim of the accident was a Chosson, who during the night underwent two surgeries in Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. His condition has stabilized somewhat but is still in need of Rachmei Shomayim.
According to a BeChadrei Chareidim report, Shmuel, a 17-year-old Beit Shemesh resident, became a chosson as he is engaged to the daughter of a prominent member of the Toldos Aharon tzibur to which he too belongs. Since he has yet to reached his 18th birthday, the engagement was not publicized, at least before the motzei Shabbos accident.
The accident was serious, a head-on collision between two private vehicles and a minivan. Police in the northern district explain the van veered from its lane and hit a private vehicle head-on. Police point out the probe is still in its preliminary stage.
BeChadrei Chareidim adds that the members of Shmuel’s family spent Shabbos in Tzefas. On Motzei Shabbos, some of them wished to be mispallel at the tziyun of the Rashbi in Meron. The driver of the rented vehicle was a family member. For reasons that remain a mystery at present, the passenger’s airbag did not deploy, and therefore, the chosson, Shmuel, who was seated next to the driver, sustained the most serious injuries.
After the word of the accident spread, Shmuel’s parents, with the remaining children and grandchildren in Tzefas, made their way to Haifa, to Rambam Hospital, where Shmuel is being treated. At the time of this report, doctors describe his condition as serious/stable.
The family asks that the tzibur be mispallel for Shmuel Chaim ben Sheindel Tziril.
