UNDERSTANDING GER

WHEN I CAME TO ERETZ YISROEL AS A YOUNG BOUCHER AND WENT IN TO MEET THE HOLY RABBI THE BEIS YISROEL FOR THE FIRST TIME, 

AS I LEFT THE HIS ROOM, HE HELD ON TO THE DOOR HANDLE, AND SAID ME I KNOW EVERYTHING, THESE WORDS MADE ME FEEL THAT HE WAS MY FATHER AND MOTHER AND HE UNDERSTOOD ALL MY FEELINGS AND PROBLEMS.

LATTER ON IN LIFE THE ONLY PERSON WHO I FELT UNDERSTOOD ME LIKE THAT WAS MY DEAR WIFE        TIKWAH     A. H. 

HE LOVED ME AND CARED FOR ME LIKE HER, WHEN HE PASSED A WAY, I STILL HAD MY WIFE, TO DAY I AM ALONE  AND THIS PRAYER I SAY TO G-D. 

PLEASE G-D YOU FILL THIS PLACE FOR ME, AND THAT I SHOULD FEEL IT.

Admor’s Wife Who Slipped Is Suing The Jerusalem Municipality For NIS 2.5 Million


The wife of an admor in Jerusalem is suing the city for NIS 2.5 million due to a permanent disability that resulted in a fall on a city street caused by a city barrier on that street.
This was in 2015 when the plaintiff walked on Malchei Yisrael Street in the Geula neighborhood of the city and slid on the “metal circles” installed on the sidewalk in order to make the sidewalk accessible to the visually impaired. In the lawsuit filed this week by attorney Tomer Liner, an expert on such claims, he describes: “The metal circles were very slippery, especially when they are wet. It should be noted that at the time of the accident, rain fell in the Jerusalem area, which increased the risk that was realized. “As a result, the Plaintiff stumbled, fell to the ground and was injured all over her body.”
According to the Chareidim10 News report, the plaintiff was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital, where she underwent two operations and was hospitalized for an infection in the intensive care unit. For one year she was forced to stop working because of the accident.
According to an expert safety opinion submitted to the court, “there is a direct connection between the occurrence of the accident and the safety hazard created by the defendant (the municipality).”
For many months, the plaintiff was 100% disabled, as determined by Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute), and was subsequently permanently disabled by 25%.
Attorney Tomer Liner: “This is a young woman, the mother of seven children, who suffered real damage due to negligence by the municipality, as determined by safety and medical experts. We believe that the court will do justice and will determine appropriate compensation for the great damage. ”

SARA SCHNIRER

84th Yartzeit of Sara Schnirer





They were a group of forgotten neshamos. An entire segment of Klal Yisroel that was neglected. No one cared about their chinuch. And, as a consequence of this wholesale neglect, many of them were lost forever to the beautiful vine that is Klal Yisroel.
But then, a young seamstress from Krakow in turn-of-the-century Poland, whose yartzeit is today, began to turn the Torah world upside down. Yes, upside down.
Sara Schenirer, daughter of a prominent Belzer and Sanzer Chasidisha family, was a seamstress. She was a seamstress that had attended a Polish public school – a goyish public school. She didn’t know lashon hakodesh. She studied commentaries on the Torah not in Hebrew – but in Yiddish translation.
And seamstress Sarah Schnirer listened. She listened with empathy to her clients. Customers who told her tales of woe of their off- the-derech daughters. The winds of progress were blowing, and daughters of Israel were abandoning their birthright of Sinai in droves.
Boys went to Cheder. Girls stayed home or went to Polish public schools and were exposed to all the “ism”s in the world – communism, socialism, humanism, ad infinitum. Ad infinitum and and ad nauseam.
She writes in her diary:
“And as we pass through the days prior to the Yomim Noraim, fathers and their sons travel off to Ger, to Belze, to Alexsander and to Bobov. They travel to all those places that have become citadels of ruchniyus, led by the Rebbes.
Yet we stay at home, the wives, the daughters and the little ones. Ours is an empty Yom Tov. Ours is a fate devoid of Torah intellectual content. The women have never learned anything about the spiritual meaning that lies within a Yom Tov.”
Her words and actions struck a raw nerve.
How dare she? How dare this insolent woman question our way of life? How dare this upstart challenge centuries of tradition – Mesorah?
Her opponents tried to stop her. It is said that when her detractors came to the Chofetz Chaim to sign a letter against her, the Chofetz Chaim exited the room and came back with a sum of money. He responded, “My thoughts are.. that she should be supported – please give her these rubles.”
Soon her support grew. The Gerrer Rebbe stood behind her fledgling movement. Moneys were raised. Summer programs were started. Sara Schnirer was focused, and she built.
“Frau Schnirer” was undeterred by any negativity, she had vision and a burning sense of achrayus. Reb Shmuel Deutschlander supported her efforts, as did Yehudis Rosenbaum. A building was rented at 10 Stanislawa Street. It was the top floor of a dilapidated tenement building. No matter. Soon schools were opened across the country – across the continent, and over the seas.
Tragedies struck. The Holocaust. Assimilation. Religious apathy. The holocaust brought on some serious religious challenges to the Sheris HaPleitah – those that survived the evil that was Nazi Germany.
But the movement grew.  It grew in Eretz Yisroel, the United States, and elsewhere too.  The movement not only grew, but it built Klal Yisroel.  It built the Torah homes that we all grew up with.  It created the Kollel movement.  It grew the Yeshiva world.
The accomplishments and vision of this one woman allowed the Torah world of the Tanaim to continue now, in a post-holocaust world.  It allowed the lessons of the Mishna to flourish.
The idea is perhaps best foretold in the words of Rabbi Akiva:  “Sheli veshelachem shela.  Mine and yours are on account of her.”  The meaning is that my Torah and your Torah exist because of her.  Of course these words were said of Rabbi Akiva’s wife, Rachel. But they apply equally to this remarkable woman, Sara Schenirer – Shetehei zichra brucha

EIDA CHAREIDIS LIVES IN A DREAM

Chareidi Kallah Playing The Drums at Her Wedding Elicits Ire of The Eida Chareidis



A young Kallah playing the drums at her wedding for a few minutes landed the wedding hall and the band in trouble, after the Badatz Eida Chareidis complained that her performance was not Tznius.
The couple, Itzik Rusk and Shira Hershkovitz, were married earlier this month at the Wagshal Hall in Bnei Brak. The well-known Yoeli Dickman orchestra played at the wedding.
The 19-year-old Kallah approached the band towards the end of the event and asked to be seated at the drums. The kallah then surprised everyone, to put it mildly, when she began drumming while the rest of the band continued to play.
The audience was impressed with Hershkovitz’s short performance, and video of “the drumming bride” went viral on social media.
But the Badatz Eida Chareidis, which gives the Kashrus certification to the hall, was less than enthusiastic. According to Bechadrei Charedim, the Kashrus supervisors called the hall’s management, asking where the Mashgiach was and “why they did not turn off the electricity in the hall as soon as the bride began to play.”
The Rabbonim demanded that the orchestra publish a public apology. An apology printed on official Badatz Eida Chareidis stationery, reads: “We, the Dickman Orchestra, are sorry about what happened last week, and the terrible breach in Tznius at the Wagshal Hall, and we commit it will not occur again in the future, and we will be diligent to maintain Tznius.”
“אנו תזמורת דיקמן מצטערים על מה שקרה בשבוע שעבר, מעשה אשר לא ייעשה, בפרצה נוראה בגדרי הצניעות באולמי וגשל בני ברק, ומתחייבים שמהיום לא יקרה דבר כזה, ונתאמץ לשמור על גדרי הצניעות”.
The letter further said that “if Chalilah it happens again, we accept that a prohibition on the band appearing at Simchos should be made known and publicized.”
As a result of the incident, the Eida sent a clear message to all halls and those performing at Eida-certified events, that the Kashrus certification does not only relate to the food being served, but also demands maintaining modesty standards.

RELIGIOUS JEWS:

THE QUESTION IS DO NON JEWS UNDERSTAND, JEWISH SCHOOLS AND THE DIFFERENT CURRICULUM WE TEACH, IF A NOT ORTHODOX JEWS DOES NOT UNDERSTAND AN ORTHODOX JEW,  HOW CAN A NON JEW UNDERSTAND AN ORTHODOX JEW.

NOT RELIGIOUS JEW:

HAS A BOND TO ANOTHER JEW AND ISRAEL, THIS A  GOY OR GENTILE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND.

BUT NOT RELIGIOUS JEWS CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THAT GOYIM DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS

THE COMMON DENOMINATOR IS THAT HOW MUCH JEWS THINK THEY CAN EXPLAIN THEMSELVES TO GOYIM AND MAKE LAWS, THERE WILL ALWAYS  BE ANTISEMITISM.

TESTS IN LIFE

WE DO NOT GET CHILDREN READY FOR THE PROBLEMS IN LIFE, THAT IS THE REASON I WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS , TO SHOW WHAT I WRITE IS VERY IMPORTANT.

 WHEN WE EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS AND PARENTS ,WE PLAY DOWN ALL THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE HAVE IN LIFE, WE PUSH EVERYTHING UNDER THE CARPET, ALL OUR FEELINGS.

LEARNING THAT THERE ARE PROBLEMS IN LIFE IS  EDUCATION TO OUR CHILDREN.

HASHEM MAKES PROBLEMS THAT WE SHOULD TURN TO G-D ASKING FOR HELP.

EMUNA IN HASHEM IS THAT THE PROBLEMS ARE NOT PROBLEMS, BUT TESTS FOR US THAT WE SHOULD   TURN TO G-D.

I WAS BY A WEDDING YESTERDAY, A PERSON CAME UP TO ME AND SAID I READ ALL YOUR BLOGS, I DO NOT COMMENT AS I FEEL YOU ARE MUCH HIGHER THAN US, I TOLD HIM THAT I OBSERVE EVERY SITUATION  IN LIFE AND TRY TO SEE G-D'S HAND, THAT BRINGS YOU EMUNA.

THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO TEACH THE CHILDREN, THE BAD WAYS ARE HERE TO STAY, WE HAVE TO LEARN FROM THEM.

ANTI SEMITISM ( HATING A JEW )

TN THE LAST FEW WEEKS THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF TALK ON THE MEDIA  ABOUT ANTI SEMITISM.

I AS ORTHODOX JEW AM NOT SURPRISED AS WE HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT THE GOYIM DO NOT LOVE US.

MY REASON FOR THIS IS THAT IF YOU WILL NOT KNOW AND LEARN THAT A JEW IS DIFFERENT FROM A GOY, AND YOU WILL NOT KEEP THE TORAH, AND GO IN THEIR WAYS.

G-D WILL MAKE THEM NOT LIKE YOU AND TURN THEM AGAINST YOU, AS WE HAVE SEEN IN THE  HOLOCAUST AND NOW IN THE LABOUR PARTY, NO LEGISLATION  OR CONDAMNATION WILL CHANGE THAT.

THE ONLY THING THAT WILL CHANGE THAT, IS BY KNOWING YOU ARE A JEW, AND KEEPING THE TORAH.

German Court: Trial Of Nazi Guard Unlikely To Be Restarted


A German court says it’s unlikely the trial of a former Nazi concentration camp guard that collapsed in December over concerns about the defendant’s health will resume, after a doctor found the 95-year-old still unfit to face the court.
The Muenster state court said Monday that judges still need to make a final decision and the prosecution can appeal, but it seems unlikely Johann Rehbogen’s trial can be restarted.
The trial was broken off in December after Rehbogen, a former SS guard at the Stutthof concentration camp, was hospitalized for heart and kidney issues, causing several hearings to be canceled.
The court ended the trial under German legal regulations preventing overly long gaps, but said it could be restarted from the beginning if Rehbogen’s health improved.
Rehbogen was one of two former Stutthof guards under investigation by the Dortmund prosecutors’ office. Even though their times at the camp overlap, their cases have already been separated because the other suspect was deemed unfit for trial.
Rehbogen, however, appeared outwardly healthy when his trial opened Nov. 6, listening attentively to the proceedings and answering basic questions from the judges.
He is accused of serving as a guard at the Stutthof camp, east of Danzig, which is today the Polish city of Gdansk, from June 1942 to about early September 1944. More than 60,000 people were killed in the camp and he faces hundreds of counts of accessory to murder on allegations that, as a guard, he aided in the process.
In a statement to the court read by his attorney, Rehbogen told the panel of judges in one session that while he served at Stutthof, he was “not a Nazi.” He suggested that he knew prisoners were being mistreated, but denied any knowledge of the camp’s gas chamber or any participation in killing them.
“As a Christian it was hard for me to be part of all of it,” Rehbogen told the court. “But I was too scared to protest.”
