Uproar Over Selling Aliyos at Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin in Bnei Brak on Rosh Hashana


A large uproar broke out on the second day of Rosh Hashana in Beis Midrash Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin in Bnei Brak. The uproar reportedly took place during Kriyas Hatorah, and involved the sale of the Aliyos.
BeChadrei Chareidim reports that the uproar, which included shouting and screaming, lasted for a few minutes and ended only after a direct instruction by Gavaad Zichron Meir, HaGaon Rav Chaim Meir Halevy Wosner Shlita.
At the end of davening, a member of the Vaad Kehilla and the shaliach tzibur of Musaf, Rav Yaakov Meir Steig, asked mechila in the name of the entire khal for the disgrace to the sefer Torah due to what occurred during laining. The khal expressed disgust with the uproar and against the few persons who were responsible for the unacceptable behavior.
It is noted that the rosh yeshiva, HaGaon HaRav Yosef Binyamin Wosner Shlita, returned to be shaliach tzibur for musaf on the first day of Rosh Hashanah after nine years of being the rav of Satmar in London.

PHOTOS: Fraudster Disappears With NIS 15,000 Paid For Har Menuchos Levaya

A family was preparing to bury a 30-year-old son on motzei Rosh Hashanah after he was niftar in Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem.
The family explains that a religious-looking man approached them and offered to handle all the burial matter, asking NIS 15,000 for his services. They claim to have paid the man NIS 15,000 in cash, and the levaya was set for motzei Yomtov at 10:30PM.
The family and hundreds of friends waited innocently for the chevra kadisha vehicle to arrive with the body of the niftar. After about a half hour, they checked with Hadassah Ein Kerem, learning no one had come to deal with the body, which remained in the hospital morgue, awaiting the chevra kadisha.
They phoned the man who arranged the levaya, but the phone number was not working. They then realized they handed NIS 15,000 to a con artist. The friends returned home as clearly, the levaya was not going to take place soon.
Late at night, members of Chevra Kadisha Yerushalayim organized the levaya, which took place at 2:00AM. An announcement was also made for persons to come for kovod hameis due to the situation and the late hour. It included the fact the niftar volunteered at MDA for many years, working to save lives, asking people to come and pay respect to him at his kvura. Dozens of persons arrived for the levaya.
The family has filed a complaint with police.

OUR SOCIETY IS SICK WITH BEING OCCUPIED WITH THE PENIS

ONCE AGAIN: Lakewood’s Senior Posek & Pediatrician Partner To Warn Parents About Sexual Abuse Over Yom Tov




The senior Posek and senior Pediatrician of Lakewood have once again partnered together to warn parents about the dangers of sexual abuse for children – over the Yom Tov season.
Yom Tov is a time when families get together, school is out, and parents tend to be lax in knowing the exact whereabouts of their children AT ALL TIMES. Multiple professionals and therapists have told YWN that predators specifically prey on young and vulnerable children during Yomim Tovim – specifically on Yom Kippur.
“Parents are busy Davening with intense Kavanah, and they have no idea that their children are being abused in the most horrible ways possible”, a therapist told YWN. “One extra long Shemona Esrei with a predator in the area, and the child will need years of therapy. Please don’t leave your children alone on Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah and Simchas Torah – days when parents are busy and the children are playing”.
As YWN reported, just before the summer, a hotline with recorded messages from both of them – as well as other professionals – was publicized. The messages warned parents about the obligation that a parent has to speak with their children before camp about abuse.
Now, as Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur and Sukkos are approaching, they have once again taken the commendable and bold action, and released new messages to the community. These messages are a must listen for parents.
The attached poster has been hung in all Shuls around Lakewood including BMG, as well as in Dr Shaniks office.

This is the third time that the Lakewood community has publicly addressed the dangers of sexual abuse and protecting children.
The first event was organized two years ago by Amudim, and was attended by well over 1000 people, including noted askanim, roshei kehillah, the poskim of Beis Medrash Govoha and with the hishtatfus and brocha of the roshei yeshiva, and ‎roshei mosdos.
It is now clear, that thanks to the Amudim event, this topic is now being dealt with head on, as opposed to the way it was addressed for decades. The awareness that the Amudim event generated went a long way in providing the necessary information and resources to prevent these problems from occurring, and if Chas V’shalom they do, how to properly deal with it al pi Da’as Torah.

IN IT HE SAYS , WHEN WE STOOD AT MOUNT SINAI AND GOT THE TORAH IT WAS NOT HARD TO BELIEVE IN HASHEM ,ALL THE DOORS OF HAVEN WERE OPEN AND WE BELIEVED IN HASHEM.

BUT IN AUSCHWITZ WE BELIEVED IN HASHEM WHEN WE SAW NOTING.

MY PRAYER TO G-D THIS ROSH HASHANAH  IS FOR NEARLY HALF A YEAR I AM WORKING VERY HARD ON BELIEVE IN HASHEM.

PLEASE G-D BLESS ME THAT I SHOULD GET IT.

A group of Neturi Karta staged a midnight protest in Monsey, on Motzei Shabbos. Their problem? A Selichos event that has music.
The group of 5 extremists stood outside the Atrium Plaza in Monsey, where a large event was being held.
One pickup truck staged a counter-protest.
