Fundraising Underway to Advertise Against an Elad Concert Deemed Not Acceptable to Extremists

Fundraising emails are being sent by Kol Milchama, “the Voice of War”, explaining NIS 1,500 is required to publicize the attached pashkavil against a schedule concert (kumzitz) event in Elad, an event that was approved by Mayor Yisrael Porush.
The event is scheduled to take place this Thursday, 28 Menachem Av, in Elad. Performers at the night of singing and entertainment include well-known singers Shloime Gertner and Moti Steinmitz and the Malchus band. The pashkavil states one may not attend such an event without approval of “the Badatz”, referring to the Badatz Eida Chareidis, which objects to the event.

Below is the text of the emails circulated, seeking to raise NIS 1,500 to advertise the badatz pashkavil.Opponents of the concert explain advertisement for the event seek to dupe the community into believing the evening is suitable for Bnei Torah and endorsed by Gedolim, when it is not so.

A JEWISH HEART

HARAV MAZUZ

HaRav Mazuz: Stone Which Fell from the Kosel is Due to Reform Jewry

Rosh Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz has spoken out about the large stone which recently fell from a southern area of the Kosel, the area which is to be allocated for egalitarian prayer to accommodate Reform and Conservative Jewry. Rav Mazuz calls the event a “hint from Shomayim”.
Rav Mazuz began to address the falling of the stone at the Kosel. “But what happened last week in the place designated for them at the Kosel, a stone fell weighing 100 kilograms, and there was a miracle that none of them were there, except for one woman who stood praying there, and suddenly she sees the stone. At first, they thought the Arabs had thrown it, but then they saw that it had fallen from the wall. At first, they thought it was the new stones they had erected there, but it turned out to be an ancient stone from the days of Herod and it has been there for two thousand years, and they do not know why it fell there, and now they took the stone to research why it fell as to avoid it from occurring again.”
Rav Mazuz said: “But this stone is coming to inform them: You are sinners at the Kosel, you must not do this.” If a Reform worshiper wishes to pray, let him come like all others, for even non-Jews may pray there but they should not create [something] new — a woman reading from a Sefer Torah and wearing tefillin and the like. This is what they are lacking?! Are you like Michal the daughter of Shaul? These are just actors and we must not do this”
“Therefore, the stone did not happen to fall but it was Hashgacha Pratis, a reminder, that there should not be something like this”

NO RESPECT

Peleg Yerushalmi Kabolas Shabbos Tefilos Turn into an Attack Against Prominent Modi’in Illit Rov

Thousands of avreichim and talmidei yeshivos affiliated with the Peleg Yerushalmi faction held tefilos on a city street Friday night, tefilos that turned into a showing of support for the Sephardi talmid yeshiva who was arrested last week by the military police for failing to report to an induction center, and is now serving his sentence in a military prison.
In Bnei Brak, supporters of the Peleg davened at the intersection of Rabbi Akiva and Hashomer Streets and in Kiryat Sefer they davened on Chafetz Chayim Street near the Heichal Yitzchak Shul.
In an ad published in the newspaper on erev Shabbos, the public was called by the “Committee to Save the World of Torah” to gather on the erev Shabbos for be “MeKadesh Shem Shomayim and Kabolas Shabbos Kodesh on the streets of a city.”
According to persons who saw the event, the tefilla in Modi’in Illit turned into a real protest outside the beis medrash of the mora d’asra of the city, HaGaon HaRav Meir Kessler Shlita, and when davening ended, they began shouting insults at him.
According to many avreichim who were witness to the spectacle, “The protestors crossed a red line by turning a protest tefilla event into cries and scolding against a Rov and Moreh Halacha, and this crosses all borders”.

IT IS ONLY A JEW

Jewish Man Vacationing in Switzerland is Niftar Shabbos Morning – Ambulance Took Over 1 Hour To Arrive

A Jewish man vacationing in Pontresina, Switzerland, together with his wife, was niftar on Shabbos after waiting over an hour for an ambulance to arrive. By then, there was nothing that could be done to save him R”L.
The hotel they were staying in has turned kosher, and now attracts many Jews. Guests at the hotel told Bechadrei Chareidim they believe the victim, from the United States, suffered a stroke, leading to his death.

Another guest, a woman, is quoted explaining the other Jewish guests were shocked upon hearing the news, especially amid the realization that if an ambulance would have arrived in a timely fashion, and not after an hour wait then they may have been able to save him

HAD THE AMBULANCE BEEN CALLED TO A NONE JEWISH HOTEL WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE WAITING TIME ? ?
BUT JEWS ARE STUPID WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR
DESIRES
MY QUESTION TO THE JEWS WHY DO THEY NOT LEAVE ?
GO HOME.
BUT THE HOLY HOLIDAYS MUST CONTINUE.

KIDDUSH HASHEM! Jewish Boys Inspire Uber Driver With Positive Message

The following was submitted by followers of the YWN instagram page:
“Today I was coming back from the beach in Deal, NJ and called an Uber to pick us up. When the car arrived, I asked the driver how he was feeling. He replied “not so well, I’m out here struggling and trying to make money and you guys are having a beautiful life and enjoying your day.”
Taken aback by his blunt response, I replied that everything comes from G-d and nothing comes from someone themselves. I told him we need to appreciate all the good we do have and enjoy what we can.
He then said “I’m so happy I met respectful young boys.” When he dropped us off, I asked to wait there for a minute. I went inside and got him water and snacks. He then asked if we were Jewish, and when I said yes, he said you guys are amazing people!”
