EXPLAINING OUR BAD BEHAVIOUR
Jerusalem Protest against Chareidi Deputy Mayor Yossi Deutsch
A protest is planned for Sunday evening, 3 Menachem Av, against chareidi Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Yossi Deutsch, who is accusing of working to persuade avreichim to leave the beis medrash to join the workforce.
The extremist protesters will gather outside the Satmar Beis Medrash located on Yoel Street at 7:40PM. From there, “We will march towards the homes of the criminals who are guilty of destroying Yahadut”, the flyer reads.
The extremist elements are continuing protests against chareidi elected officials, including members of the Degel Hatorah faction in Knesset, Moshe Gafne and Uri Maklev, accusing them of betraying bnei Torah by backing ongoing efforts to legislate a new draft law. Gafne has also been attacked by extremists in recent weeks. The zealots have also protested against and attacked Deputy Minister Meir Porush, also accused of betraying the chareidi tzibur

THE CURSE OF NEEDING TO WIN
I WROTE ABOUT MOCKING BEING THE CURSE OF OUR SOCIETY THIS APPLIES TO JEWS AND NONE JEWS.
YESTERDAY WE LOST THE WORLD CUP IN FOOTBALL.
ALWAYS NEEDING TO WIN AND BE SUCCESSFUL IS THE SECOND CURSE OF THE PEOPLE TO DAY, MOCKING IS NOT TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS YET BUT A NATURAL BAD BEHAVIOUR OF PEOPLE, WHICH BRINGS TO THE HOLOCAUST AND THE KILLING FIELDS OF VIETNAM.
BUT ALWAYS HAVING TO WIN IS TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS EXAMPLE SPORTS, AND IS REWARDED IN SOCIETY BY THE QUEEN HER SELF.
THIS BAD BEHAVIOUR IS NEARLY IN EVERY FIELD OF LIFE, IS THAT WHAT ALL LIFE IS ABOUT, SPORT IS SUPPOSED TO BRING LOVE TO ONE ANOTHER BUT I DO NOT SEE THAT IN THE PLAYERS OR FANS.
IN A FOOTBALL MATCH OR ANY OTHER MATCH ONE SIDE HAS TO WINN AND ONE SIDE HAS TO LOSE, BUT I DO NOT SEE LOVE BETWEEN THE PLAYERS OR FANS, THIS CAN NOT BE GOOD FOR MAN KIND, IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS MOCKING, IT BRINGS HATRED.

NEW REPORT: Chareidim Refusing Seats Next To Women Was NOT Cause Of Delayed El Al Flight
YWN-Israel recently reported on an incident involving an El Al flight delayed more than one hour allegedly because a group of Chareidi men refused to be seated next to women on a flight from JFK to Ben-Gurion International Airport.
The incident, reported on by news outlets around the world, led to El Al announcing a new policy that any passenger who refuses to take their assigned seats will immediately be removed from the flight.
The passenger, Katriel Shemtov, writes that the passengers had been informed before boarding that the flight, originally scheduled to depart at 6:00PM, would be delayed until 6:45PM. The later time was also written on the screen in the terminal. Shemtov writes the issue was not resolved until “at least 7:10PM, in my opinion.”However, a new report from Israeli media personality Sivan Rahav-Meir paints an entirely different side to the story. On Monday, Rahav-Meir published testimony she received via email from a passenger on the flight, claiming that the flight had already been delayed for reasons entirely unrelated to the Chareidim and their demands.
“In my estimation,” he continued, “the whole incident with the Chareidim took maybe five minutes, no more. I do not justify their behavior and one may not delay a flight even in one minute. As an ultra-Orthodox person, I have never encountered behavior like theirs. But I am shocked by the media coverage of this story. It sounds so hallucinatory. How is it that no one verified? In addition, this caused international damage to Israel. What is going on here? I hesitated a few days before contacting you, but it was important for me to let them know the truth. I have many other witnesses to the story who were on the plane if necessary”.
Sivan Rahav-Meir reports that she forwarded these claims to El Al, but received the following surprising response: “The details reported on the subject were inaccurate to say the least. In reality, the delay was not related to the event that was publicized. There was a delay in the move of the plane to the takeoff runway of an hour without any connection to the incident.”
“The two passengers who refused to take their seats took place after the plane had already departed from the gate, and it lasted only a few minutes,” thereby corroborating the testimony of Mr. Shemtov.

Israel: Indictments To Be Handed Down Against Two Suspected Chareidi Drug Smugglers
Indictments will be handed down against two persons suspected of smuggling drugs using a suitcase with a false wall. The defendants are members of the Chareidi communitiesin Beit Shemesh and Bnei Brak. They were apprehended by customs agents at Ben-Gurion International Airport.
The police investigation began when one of the suspects returned from Eastern Europe. In a police investigation, a double wall was found in a suitcase containing material suspected of being a dangerous, revealed to be three kilograms of cocaine, valued at about 1.5 million shekels.
The suspects were questioned by the police on suspicion of importing dangerous drugs and conspiring to commit a crime.The 21-year-old suspect from Beit Shemesh was arrested and brought for questioning by the police, during which suspicion arose against a 23-year-old suspect from Bnei Brak who was allegedly supposed to receive the suitcase containing the drugs.
The detention of the 21-year-old was extended by the court and the 23-year-old was released to house arrest.

Israel Ranks As 8th Most Powerful Country on Earth
From among the 80 countries ranked, the U.S. News and World Report ranked Israel as the 8th most powerful country in the world. Citing Israel’s technological and military prowess, the ranking was a new record for Israel, outdoing countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, South Korea and Canada, who ranked 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. The ranking lists the countries who project their influence on the world stage the most.
According to the Report, “Israel, the only Jewish nation in the world, is a small country on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. For its relatively small size, the country has played a large role in global affairs. The country has a strong economy, landmarks of significance to several religions and strained relationships with many of its Arab neighbors.”
The report further states that “Israel has a technologically advanced market economy with cut diamonds, high-technology equipment, and pharmaceuticals among its major exports. The country is very highly developed in terms of life expectancy, education, per capita income and other human development index indicators. But the country also has one of the most unequal economies in the Western world, with significant gaps between the rich and poor.”
The report also gave a lot of importance to the immigration or Aliyah factor. “While the culture of Jewish Israelis and the Arab minority have remained fairly separate, the country has been influenced by Jewish immigrants from all over the world, many of whom have gone on to make significant contributions to science, politics and the arts.”
The report compared the country’s military spending to that of the U.S. and other countries in the top 10 of the list. “The United States, which is perceived to be the most powerful country, has the world’s largest economy and biggest military budget, spending over $600 billion on military hardware and personnel in 2016. Israel and Saudi Arabia, who took eighth and ninth spots, respectively, spend a higher percentage of their GDP on military spending than the U.S.”

Starbucks Employee Fired After Mocking Stuttering Customer
Starbucks says an employee in Philadelphia has been fired after reportedly mocking a customer with a stutter.
The coffee chain says the behavior did not reflect the experience customers should have and the employee is no longer with Starbucks.
In May, Starbucks held anti-racial bias training for thousands of U.S. employees after a worker at another Philadelphia store called police on two black men waiting for a friend. The incident was a major embarrassment person on Facebook posted Sunday that his friend stuttered when giving his name, and that the barista made light of it verbally and then spelled the name with extra letters. The customer with the stutter emailed Starbucks and was offered $5 as an apology, according to the post. Starbucks said Thursday that was not the ideal response, and that it has since apologized to the person directly.
